Chabwino means "of the good, for the good." We are an enthusiastic non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable support and empowerment of the population in Malawi.
Objective and mission of the non-profit organization Chabwino
Chabwino's mission is to sustainably support and strengthen the self-reliance of the population in nine villages around the town of Zomba in Malawi. This is done by providing education, making local agriculture more sustainable, strengthening the economy, improving water supply, increasing food security, improving health care and with a special focus on vulnerable groups. Our projects come about in close consultation and with the strong involvement of the local population and we aim that the villages become independent in time.
The foundation of this project was laid in 2010, then under the name of NonProfitBelgium.
